On August 22, 2022 Severin was taken into custody. He was released after serving his sentence on August 4, 2023.
On February 22, 2024 Severin gave an interview to OVD-info, where he reported that the Paninsky District Court sentenced him to a fine of 30 thousand for discrediting the armed forces.
July 19, 2024 The Voronezh Central District Court returned Severin to the penal colony to serve out 84 days because the first instance incorrectly counted the time he spent under house arrest, Sotavision reports.
September 8, 2024 Voronezh activist Grigory Severin was released from the penal colony, OVD-Info reports. He was sent there to “serve out” 84 days in the case of the phrase “cut the KGB”.
