Summary: On April 4, 2024, Dmitry Bogmut, an employee of the B.P. Details: Dmitry Bogmut worked as a technician in the condensed matter research department of the PNPI. On April 4, 2024, he was charged under paragraph “d” of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code, under which Bogmut faces up to ten years in prison. According to investigators, in March-June 2023, Bogmut, while in the building of the Institute of Nuclear Physics in Gatchina, “publicly distributed on a certain website texts, videos and images with deliberately false information about the use of the Russian Armed Forces outside the territory of the Russian Federation.” In particular, this was a video that “contains false information about the goals and progress of the SVO.”
