Boris Kagarlitsky is accused of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public justification of terrorism committed using information and telecommunication networks, including the Internet). The Savyolovsky Court of Moscow fined Kagarlitsky 40 thousand rubles, a sociologist for not labeling a foreign agent in his publications. “Kagarlitsky was found guilty of committing an offense under Part 4 of Art. 19.34 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation,” the court said.
