Summary: On November 2, 2024, the Petrogradsky District Court of St. Petersburg imposed an administrative fine on Lika Dyachkina, associate professor of the Finance Department at SPbGEU, finding her guilty under the article on displaying attributes or symbols of an extremist organization (Part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). This was reported by the united press service of the courts of St. Petersburg, according to Meduza. Dyachkina was sentenced to a fine of 2 thousand rubles for each protocol drawn up – there were three in total. Dyachkina did not agree with the protocols, RBC reports.

Details: According to the press service, the court reviewed three administrative protocols drawn up against Dyachkina. “On October 4, 9 and 17, 2024, Dyachkina placed A4 sheets of paper with a portrait at the Solovetsky Stone. The sheets said that Lesha was her hero, her president, he was in our hearts and also “We will not forget! We will not forgive!”,” the press service said in a statement, according to Meduza.

Lika Dyachkina is an associate professor of the finance department and a candidate of economic sciences.

One of them, after threatening Kabov, joined the FSB (Federal Security Service of Russia), after which the second student filed a denunciation against his former scientific supervisor. It also became clear that the embezzlement case lacked any financial evidence, and that the allegations regarding the falsification of Kabov’s scientific results had been manufactured by FSB officers. The prosecution is demanding a seven-year prison term, a significant fine, and a three-year prohibition on conducting scientific research. The defendant has asked the judge to reopen the investigation. The judge must now decide whether there is sufficient information to deliver a verdict or if the case should be sent back for further investigation.
